I entered the event management industry, driven by my need for organising. I coordinated events, managed the company's social media and taught myself basic graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop, leading to a position as a Creative Designer. After 5 years of hands-on, high-pressure work, I honed my project management skills and channeled my creative energy into some freelance graphic design projects. In 2018, I founded The Mineraw, which started as a kitchen side project and has since become a successful small business. My passion for skincare stems from my personal struggle with skin issues, and my goal was to educate and help others by promoting clean, no-nasties skincare products and embracing one's own skin.
I transitioned into UX/UI design to combine my passion for technology with my love for creativity. This career path allowed me to fully embrace my nerdy self by leveraging my technical skills to create intuitive and user-friendly digital products. At the same time, I get to keep my creative juices flowing by designing visually appealing and engaging interfaces that enhance the user experience. I am thrilled to see what the future has in store for me in this career that combines my passions and allows me to continuously grow and evolve as a designer.
